Two Blackhawk helicopters crash in Kentucky, Military base says- Mrit Extra


Two Blackhawk helicopters crashed throughout a coaching incident in Kentucky on Wednesday, the Military base Fort Campbell stated in an announcement early Thursday.

“The standing of the crew members are unknown presently. The command is at present targeted on caring for the servicemembers and their households,” Fort Campbell stated.

The helicopters concerned have been from the a hundred and first Airborne Division (Air Assault), it stated.

They have been concerned in a coaching incident after they crashed round 10 p.m. in Trigg County, which is to the west of Fort Campbell, in keeping with base officers.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear stated fatalities are anticipated.

“We’ve obtained some powerful information out of Fort Campbell, with early experiences of a helicopter crash and fatalities are anticipated,” Beshear tweeted. He stated state police and native officers are responding.

“Please pray for all these affected,” Beshear stated within the message.

The a hundred and first Airborne Division is an Military air assault division generally known as the “Screaming Eagles.”
